Luxembourg, LU, 12 June 2026 — One year after its launch, Nordea Asset Management’s (NAM) Nordea 1 – Empower Europe Fund (ISINs: BP EUR – LU3076185084 / BI EUR – LU3076185167) has demonstrated the strength and relevance of its investment thesis at a defining moment for Europe, surpassing €850 million in assets under management driven by strong investor demand.

This milestone marks the first anniversary of a strategy built on a single conviction: that Europe’s strategic reset is structural, not temporary — and the drive for greater strategic autonomy is reshaping the continent’s investment landscape.

Over the past twelve months, the investment case has only grown stronger. The need to secure energy supplies, rebuild industrial capacity, and strengthen defence and cyber security has become urgent and concrete across Europe — moving from long-term ambition to near-term priority.

The Fund invests across three themes that sit at the heart of Europe’s transformation: Energy Resilience, supporting companies that help Europe produce and manage its own energy; Reshoring Production, backing businesses that are bringing manufacturing back to Europe; and Defence & Cyber Security, investing in companies building Europe’s defence and digital security capabilities.
